BiH PRIDE MARCH
BiH PRIDE MARCH
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, LGBTIQ+ people still have no legal recognition and are denied basic human rights. Since the 1st Pride March in 2019, the Organizing Committee has made five core demands - none of which have been fulfilled. The 2025 campaign responded with a clear and layered message: Ljubav je zakon. It means Love is the law - the highest, most universal law, but also demands that queer love must be recognised by the law, with equal rights and protection.
Justice in Bosnia and Herzegovina isn’t blind in the way it should be - impartial and equal for all. It chooses who to see and who to ignore. Therefore, the campaign featured Lady Justice in two versions: one blindfolded with the rainbow flag, the other with the trans flag, drawing attention to the escalating attack on trans rights.
In Republika Srpska, gender identity has been erased from legislation, stripping trans people of legal recognition and protection.
