PLATO'S COLLECTION
PLATO'S COLLECTION
Plato’s Collection is a fashion line of handmade garments constructed from recycled paper and fabric. The project takes inspiration from Plato’s five Platonic solids - forms he believed to be the fundamental elements of the universe, and explores the relationship between geometry, the human body, and its environment. The collection has been featured in numerous exhibitions in galleries and museums around the world, including “Little Black Dress” in England, alongside designs by Vivienne Westwood, Saint Laurent, and Issey Miyake.
It was featured in various books and publications about fashion, paper craft, arts & design
Originally created as my Bachelor’s thesis, the project has since inspired students around the world to develop their own academic works and design research based on Plato’s Collection.
